Funded by local potters and built in 1502 upon the ashes of #StBorysGlibChurch , it’s a #Galicia masterpiece with 3 naves, a 17th CE iconostasis & c.1630 paintings. Visited by #Cossack Leader #BohdanKhmelnytsky it inspires Ukrainian Orthodox faith & craft.

Rebuilt from massive pine logs (early 2000s), #AllSaintsSketeOfSviatohirskLavra was once Ukraine's largest #WoodenChurch self-sufficient with gardens, orchards & ponds within a palisade. Bearing 16th & 17th CE Orthodox traditions, the church was deliberately destroyed by a #RussianMilitaryStrike in June 2022. Today only foundations & remnants remain #UkrainianCutureUnderAttack .

#StAndrewsChurch is an 18th CE #Baroque #Rococo masterpiece by Italian architect #FrancescoRastrelli . On this steep hill once stood the 13th CE #ChurchoftheExaltationoftheHolyCross , later lost to fire. Tradition says #StAndrew the #Apostle raised a cross here and foretold divine grace. With turquoise domes, gilded iconostasis & 60+ oil paintings, it opened as a #Museum in 1968.
