#ReverendBasilicaOfTheExaltationOfTheCross is a salient example of #Baroque #EcclesiasticalArchitecture. With ornate stucco detail & supreme facade, it is influenced by German classicist architecture & art. Built in 1787 the basilica is a cultural landmark that stands as a testament to the city's diverse religious heritage, enduring the political unrest of the early 20th CE.
