#StBridesChurch, a #Baroque#ArchitecturalGem by #ChristopherWren was built in 1672 after the #GreatFireofLondon. Its elegant symmetry & tiered 69m spire is said to be the design inspiration for the wedding cake. Reconstructed after the WW2 #Blitz, the 7th CE crypt evidences Roman, Saxon & #MiddleAges history, reflecting London’s rich cultural heritage & architectural legacy.
Above a picturesque lake, the romantic & mysterious #SvirzhCastle rises. Built by the noble #Swirski family in the 15th CE, a small church c.1546 is inside. Surrounded by moats & swamps, it was rebuilt & fortified in the 17th CE by Count #AleksanderCetner. A hidden #ArchitecturalGem - rarely open to tourists, its stone halls echo of #Tatar raids, organ music & deadly duels.
