#Grade2Listed the #GroveGardensChapel boasts a unique cruciform structure formed from stone & several ornate decorations inc. a stained glass panel portraying scenes from the Bible. Built in 1877 in the #GothicRevival style by #ArthurBlomfield as the #RichmondOldCemetery chapel, structural decay caused by #ClimateChange is being restored by the charity group #Habitats&Heritage.

North of the #RoyalAlbertHall, inside #KensingtonGardens you will find this stalwart remembrance commissioned by #QueenVictoria in 1872, in dedication to her late husband #PrinceAlbert, who died in 1861 aged 42. Designed by #GeorgeGilbertScott, this #GothicRevival pavilion enshrines a gilt-bronze statue as an immortal reminder of his status as an innovator across Europe.
