North of the #RoyalAlbertHall , inside #KensingtonGardens you will find this stalwart remembrance commissioned by #QueenVictoria in 1872, in dedication to her late husband #PrinceAlbert , who died in 1861 aged 42. Designed by #GeorgeGilbertScott , this #GothicRevival pavilion enshrines a gilt-bronze statue as an immortal reminder of his status as an innovator across Europe.
