Built by #WilliamtheConqueror in 1097, the White Tower's revolutionary #NormanKeep features Kentish #Ragstone with imported #CaenStone, 15ft-thick walls rising 90ft above the #RiverThames. Its revolutionary fortress design, which was unprecedented in England at the time, symbolised #Norman rule.
