The former #DailyExpressBuilding, unveiled in 1932 by press baron #LordBeaverbrook, is a striking #ArtDeco landmark. Here, editor #ArthurChristiansen led the #Newspaper to record circulation & influence. Although the #DailyExpress left #FleetStreet in the 1980s, the building appears in the 1961 film #TheDayTheEarthCaughtFire & is a lasting symbol of Britain’s tabloid press.

The #NewYorkTimes is a daily #Newspaper that moved to 1475 Broadway in 1904, an area called Longacre Square at the time & later renamed #TimesSquare in honour of the paper. The top of the building, known as #OneTimesSquare is the site of the New Year's Eve #BallDrop tradition. Winner of 132 #Pulitzer Prizes, the most of any newspaper, it is regarded as a #NewspaperOfRecord #USA
