The #Brighton #SealLife centre has the largest collection of Sharks & Rays in the UK, plus turtles, jellyfish, coral inhabitants & other forms of life. Opened in 1872, the #Aquarium was designed by Eugenius Birch, the #Architect responsible for the #WestPier. Bombed during WWI the design changed during reconstruction in 1929, then restored in 2012. #VisitBrighton

Opened in 1866, extended in 1893 & a concert hall added in 1916, the #WestPier in #Brighton was a popular attraction that peaked in 1919 with 2M visitors. Its popularity declined after WWII & the concert hall was replaced with a funfair.
