#HaggerstonBaths in #EastLondon provided #Haggerston’s residents with public access to warm water facilities for washing & swimming. Designed by #AlfredCross, the #Edwardian pool hall opened in 1904 & closed in 2000. Despite campaigns to refurbish & re-open the site, the derelict pool halls remain frozen in time – a reminder of #LostLondon’s #CulturalHeritage & #Hackney’s past.

Constructed 1896 by #AustroHungarian engineers, this 9-arch stone #RailwayViaduct is a testament to 19th-century #CivilEngineering. Still active and carrying trains today, its resilience makes it a powerful #ArchitecturalMonument. Often compared to #HarryPotter bridges, this regional #CulturalHeritage site embodies #Ukraine's layered history, bridging eras and landscapes.
