#ErnestHemingway wrote much of his memoir, "A Moveable Feast" at a café in #Montparnasse #Paris, La Closerie des Lilas, which is still open today. Café #culture features prominently in the #book & he often based his characters on people he met. "The marble-topped tables, the smell of café cremes, the smell of early morning sweeping out and mopping and luck were all you needed.”
