After weeks of lobbying the Clans to join him, he raised his ad hoc Standard with only 200 men at #LochShiel. The Rebellion failed, but left a mark in the #HiddenHistory around us.

Believing his rightful place was on the throne of England James was nicknamed #ThePretender & his son, #CharlesEdwardStuart, known as #TheYoungPretender, revived the #KnightsTemplar order for battle in the #JacobiteRebellion of 1745.
