Named in honour of #DesmondTutu#TutusNightclub in #StrandCampus#MacadamBuilding was unveiled by #KCLSU in 1992. With cheap drinks & rooftop views, Tutu’s became a legendary spot for student nights out. Even Tutu himself celebrated his 80th birthday there. Though the nightclub closed in 2013, its spirit lives on in the hearts of students & #KCLAlumni#KCLSUAction
#KCLSU opened its 4th home at #DenmarkHillCampus in 2019, inside the #IoPPNBuilding, after a 2-year student campaign to ‘put it on the KCLSU map’. Open 24/7, the space provides areas for activity, relaxation, & student support. With Denmark Hill now part of the KCLSU network, students across all KCL campuses can enjoy a more connected and inclusive experience. #KCLSUAction
