#Hrazhda is a name for a particular type of 17th CE traditional dwelling found in the Ukrainian #CarpathianMountains. Surrounded by tall strong fencing to protect & defend people & livestock from snowstorms & beasts, these #Hutsul homesteads belonged to wealthy farmers who owned many animals, far from villages. Originates from #KyivanRus culture #UkrainianHeritage
