Rising out of a ravine over #DzhurynFalls, the #Ruin of #ChervonohorodCastle casts its legendary spell. Chartered in 1434 as a seat of Polish rule, 17th CE nobleman #MikołajDaniłowicz turned it into a fortress, which fell to the Turks in 1672. In 1778 Prince #KarolPoniński transformed it into a #Palace. Ravaged by war & #Soviet demolition, the towers are all that remain.
