Celebrating the remarkable women whose legacy has shaped King’s College London
Young #VirginiaWoolf entered #KingsCollegeLondon in 1897, when women studied in the shadow of men. Now her name shines on the #VirginiaWoolfBuilding. I touch the cool stone walls she once passed & imagine her hurried steps. Her portrait watches as I move through gates that once barred her. This building is proof that courage builds doors where walls once stood. #KCLWoman
